About

Furlark started with a simple observation: most pet shops sell to a dog owner, or a cat owner, or a bird owner — not to someone whose life actually has all three, or whose one companion has needs that don't fit neatly into a single aisle.

Walk into most pet stores and you'll find aisle after aisle for dogs, a decent stretch for cats, and then a sad little shelf near the back for everyone else. If you've got a hamster, a parakeet, or a house where a cat and a dog have negotiated an uneasy peace, you already know the routine — three tabs open, three different shops, three shipping charges.

So we built the shop we wanted: one dependable place for the everyday stuff, whatever's waiting for you at the door.

What we actually stock

Around a hundred products across seven categories, chosen because they solve a real problem rather than because they photograph well.

Beds & furniture is our deepest range — caves and window hammocks for cats who want height and hiding places, orthopedic beds for older dogs, cooling mats for August and heated nests for January. Travel & gear covers everything between the front door and wherever you're going: no-pull harnesses, reflective collars, engraved ID tags, carriers, car seat covers. Feeders & bowls runs from a ceramic dish on a wooden stand to app-controlled feeders that portion meals while you're at work, plus fountains for the cats who refuse to drink from a still bowl.

Then grooming, health & wellness, clothing, and toys — the ordinary things that make an ordinary week easier.

How we choose

Three questions, every time. Does it solve a problem an owner actually has? Will it survive real use by a real animal? Would we put it in our own home?

That last one rules out more than you'd think. A lot of pet products are designed to appeal to the human at the checkout rather than the animal who has to live with them. A harness that looks sharp but chafes on a long walk is a bad harness. A bed that photographs beautifully but can't go in a washing machine is a bad bed.

What we promise

Thirty days to change your mind. Reach out within 30 days of delivery and we'll walk you through a return. Items need to be unused with tags on, and we'll send you the return address along with a shipping label.

Sizing help from an actual person. Harnesses and clothing are where most online pet purchases go wrong. Email us your pet's weight and breed before you order and we'll tell you which size to get — measure the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs, not the neck.

Tracking that updates. A shipping confirmation lands the moment your order leaves the warehouse. Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days.

Who's behind it

Furlark is a small independent operation, not a marketplace and not a dropship storefront with a thousand random SKUs. The range is deliberately finite because we'd rather stock a hundred things we can stand behind than ten thousand we can't.

If something isn't right — wrong size, damaged in transit, or just not what you hoped — reply to any email we send you or write to hello@furlark.com. A person reads it.

Small joys, wagging tails. That's the whole idea.
